The new Prime Minister of Solomon Islands, the Hon Dr David Derek Sikua MP, visited the Australian National University in January to discuss recent political developments and plans for the future. CDI Director Ben Reilly and other senior ANU staff met with Dr Sikua on 22 January and talked about a range of pressing issues, including planned political reforms, higher education initiatives, constitutional reforms and the future of the RAMSI operation. Dr Sikua has outlined some of these plans in a policy address on the inauguration of his new Government which you can access through this link:
